There have a golf course nearby college. If you are interested with playing golf or you have never been play golf before, there will be a nice place for you to learn how to play golf. Not only that, the weather of Malaysia is known as summer all the year, therefore the four seasons problem that not allow you to play golf at outdoor will not be a problem at here. In addition, there is a golf lesson provided.
Other than sport, watching movie is also a relaxation activity for students after class as watching movie is the best way for relieving stress. The nearest cinema is just 5 mininutes away from campus which located in Aeon Mall.
Austin Height Water and Adventure Park is 5 kilometers away from Sunway College JB. It is a large scale water and adventure park which consists of 3 floors and offer variety types of recreational activities.
Water park is located at the ground floor, it consists of many facilities such as splash world, super surf, rainbow hood, racer bowl, wave pool, lazy river and so on. As Malaysia is a tropical country, water park would always be the first option for summer activities.
Not only that, there is also a small indoor racing circuit beside the ticket office which enable passenger to experience speed and drift.
The second floor is an adventure park and it offer climbing activities. This section is suitable to those people who likes climbing and not afraid of high as it is about 3 stories high.
For the third floor, it is more toward to sport activities such as ice skating, jump street, gym and dodge ball which enable us to active muscles and get sweaty.
There are more than three KTV surrounded Sunway College JB, while the nearest is Big Studio which located opposite of the college. Student often like to go there for some celebration, vent and relax. When student are having a 3-4 hours break, KTV will be the best place for student to kill time with friends. The price of KTV which surrounded college is considered cheap and even provided meal sometimes, therefore student like to patronize as it can be the place to play while eat.
One of the most popular place of entertainment -“Lost in JB”, is located at Austin Height which is also near by Sunway College JB. Lost in JB is an escape room which provided intellectual and mystery escape game, and allow a group of 3-6 people to adventure. Currently, they are offering a total of 6 themes and the theme will subject to change with the season. Not only that, remember to bring the student ID card which can enjoy the student price which is more valuable for the entrance fees. As the games are required intelligence and the answers are always unexpected. Hence, most of the student like to adventure and have fun with their friends during holidays or after finish class.
There are some convenience stores nearby the campus such as Family Mart, 7-11, 100 Yen, Watson and Guardian. The students are more likely access to Family Mart which there have various types of the food catagories within small convenience stores located outside the college. When there is a short break, Family Mart will be the first choice for the student to settle their meal. Besides, sometimes the students want to buy some daily supplies or grocery without travelling to the malls , Watson and Guardian are more convenience which also located outside the college especially for the student who stayed in hostel.
Other than that, there are also some malls located 10 minutes from Sunway College JB which are Tesco, Ikea and Aeon. The most visited by the students is Aeon because the mall included plenty of F&B, hypermarket, clothings store and other accessories options. Most of the students will go to the mall to purchase some groceries or daily supplies at the hypermarket, having the meals or wallk around to spend some times at there.
